Anthropologie March Catalog 2011

Here is a sneak peek of the Anthropologie's March catalog and all of the incredible clothes that they will be getting in their stores soon. I am in love with all of the gorgeous prints, maxi dresses, and slouchy woven knits. Can I just say, I love where I work! Anthropologie's catalogs are always inspiring with their fabulous styling techniques and incredible photography that makes the beautiful clothing and home products irresistible!

Love the pairing of a printed maxi with a bold and bright statement necklace!
Neutral woven sweaters layered over a printed skirt is a huge upcoming Spring trend!
I'd love to see this tank paired with a some high waisted trousers and gold chandelier earrings.
This whole outfit is fabulous! Love the belted tank layered over the pencil skirt.
A comfortable but chic outfit, unique color choices that are pulled together by the matching wedge heels.

Instant water goddess appeal with this flowy chiffon dress.
I love the unexpected heavy statement necklace that compliments the pattern of the dress.

Beautiful Intimate Ocean Wedding

This has to be one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever seen, I wish I could jump into the background as a wedding guest and see from their point of view just how incredible the ceremony must have been. I love the intimate feel of the crowd and the simple but intriguing table decorations. The whole ceremony looks like a dream. This wedding is the perfect example that less is more. It is very easy for brides to get caught up using dozens of tiny details, but try not to overdo it on the small things or the vision will get cluttered. Look at the natural beauty of your venue first before you try to make too many changes.  Longing to see more wedding photos of Kestrin and Jonathan? Check them out at Style Me Pretty!

Jamie Beck is an incredible photographer from New York City, but what captivates me is not only her work but also her lovely vintage style. During Fashion Week, Jamie styled her daily outfits with inspiration from several of my favorite style icons. Enjoy and be sure to check out her blog!

Rainy Weather Fashion

Spring weather in Oregon brings in beautiful flowers and luscious green grass, but that all comes at a small price: endless rainy days! However don't let the weather get you down, here are some chic rain gear options to make sure no puddle gets in the way of your style!

Hunter boots are a girl's best friend on rainy days, they are comfortable, chic, and practical for stomping through puddles all day!
Don't let the gloomy weather get you down, add a pop of color to your outfit to stand out from the swarms of dark rain gear.
Or you can reflect the weather outside in fashionable shades of grey but brighten up bella, the rain won't last forever! Layer up with a cute beanie just in case the rain gets the best of your hair.
Looking for comfort? Shy away from sweats and Uggs, and instead try a simple wrap coat paired with trouser pants. Without any effort you'll look sophisticated and glamourous.
Cape coats are wonderful layering pieces for rainy weather. Though its not nearly warm enough to wear shorts alone, try pairing your favorite summer shorts with opaque black tights for an early Spring trend.
Even Weddings this time of year can require emergency rain gear, keep it simple and chic with colored rain boots or a solid umbrella!
You can even double your rain boots as a reception decoration! Just add flowers, and potting soil in the boots...then try to remember to wash them out before you use them again.

A few of my rainy day favorites:
Belted Military Coat, $79.90 Alloy

Hunter Boots Original Gloss, $125 Zappos
Colonial Canopy Umbrella, $24.99 Modcloth
Splash of Sunshine, $29.99 Modcloth
