Danny Roberts is only 24 yet he has already made a huge mark in the fashion community with his fashion illustrations and portraits. I could spend hours looking through his hundreds of beautiful fashion illustrations. Within the last year, Roberts has posted several hundred works of art to his website. The illustrations range from looks by Chanel to Alexander McQueen. After becoming a familiar artist on the internet, Roberts is now entering the fashion world. He has recently done collaboration work with Gwen Stefani, Heutchy, and Forever 21. If his art inspires you, check out the prints available for purchase on etsy, they are very reasonably priced and you can support an incredible new star!

The Ultimate Book Club
I am head over heels for Kate Spade's latest Book of the Month Clutches! In classic Kate Spade style, the clutches feature an ultra chic print that is perfect for collecting whether you're adding to your library or simply starting a set. The statement piece of the season, these clutches are ideal for the woman who isn't afraid to add some wit to her wardrobe. The five current titles are Great Expectations, Emma, The Importance of Being Earnest, The Great Gatsby, and Romeo and Juliet. But in Fall 2011, Pride and Prejudice will be joining the collection! These clutches are steep at $325, but I found the book clutch wallpaper available here. I'm looking forward to a little DIY project of printing off The Great Gatsby wallpaper and pasting it onto both sides of my daily planner.

Lovely details of the Kate Spade New York Fall 2011 collection include colored tights and stockings, textured purses, animal-print gloves and bright colors making this collection both joyful and ladylike. I mean who doesn't want to look like Audrey?

What Inspires You?
My work recently posted an inspiration board in the employee lounge and asked us to bring photos of things that inspire us. I decided this photo really brought out "my Idaho roots"and reminded me of where I come from. Idaho is where I grew up and went to school, and looking back its incredible to see how much it has changed over the years. Boise especially has recreated itself with the ever growing "Bodo"(Boise Downtown) shopping area which has a very contemporary feel with great restaurants and authentic retail stores. There is the always the occasional tumbleweed that will end up under your car when driving through the foothills, however who knows maybe in a few years Boise fashionistas will start imitating Vogue looks and start sporting them in their hair. So that is my inspiration, but what inspires you?

Style Icon: Zooey Deschanel
The lovely and talented Zooey Deschanel has become one of my favorite style icons after watching "500 Days of Summer" at least a half dozen times. She has created her very own distinct style that would best be described as quirky and romantic. Zooey has reincarnated the 60's with inspiration stemming from her mother, Mary Jo Deschanel. Zooey's style is old school vintage, and could be compared to a shy librarian given a subtle makeover with the best hair I've seen yet!
One of my favorite movies of all time!

Ivy & Aster
This sweet new bridal line has caught my eye with dashing romantic details and whimsical dresses. Ivy & Aster is based out of Atlanta and available for purchase at Lovely Bride. Looking through these photos reminds me of playing dress-up with my older sister when we were younger. I love the use of delicate silk fabrics, ruffles, and gold accessories. These beautiful photos were taken by the incredible wedding photographer, Elizabeth Messina.
